With Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) becoming one of the most popular sports in North America, it makes sense for the fighters who are making a fortune to give something back.
Randy Couture is one of the worlds best MMA fights and you can see him headlining UFC events for the next few years. He and his wife started a foundation called the, "Xtreme Couture GI Foundation" which helps raise money for retired and injured United States Army soldiers.
For the first time Randy Couture decided to do a charity poker event at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tournament is set to take place on Saturday, December 12th. There will be several celebrities and professional poker players attending. Which include: Stephan Bonner, Montel Williams, Dean Cain, Doyle Brunson, Todd Brunson, Jamie Gold, Phil Gordon, Sammy Farha, Mike Matusow. Jose Canseco.
