All 16 States In Germany Ban Online Gambling
Germany has decided to celebrate there new years by banning all forms of online gambling. This is the same stand that the United States has taken and basically are failing at.
The reason for Germany banning their citizens their right to gamble online is to preserve the national state of monopolies, lotteries and all other times of betting. Each 16 states of Germany's Legislature had voted in December to approve this new law.
Here are a few rules of the new laws: No German citizen is allowed to place any bet or wager on the internet. This includes internet companies that are owed in Germany. There are also no advertising through gaming companies and affiliate websites.
There have been many complaints and this new ban will be fought and questioned in the courts. Mnay companies feel that the new laws infringes upon European Union Law.
