Chip Reese to be Honoured
A few weeks ago the Poker world suffered a significant loss when David “Chip” Reese passed away in his sleep. He died pneumonia on December 4th at the age of 56.
Chip Reese was regarded as one of the greatest poker players ever to play the game, and in that I refer to any poker game. He was a main stay at the infamous “Big Game” played in Bobby’s Room at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. In 2006, Chip Reese won his Third World Series of Poker Gold Bracelet in the inaugural H.O.R.S.E. Event. The event which is a mixed game format consisting of Hold’em, Omaha eight or better, Razz, Seven card stud and seven card stud Eight or better was a staggering $50,000 USD buy-in.
