At 18 Howard Lederer
decided to put off
college and was off to
New York to play Chess.
During this time he
found out about poker
and started to learn the
game. He was soon
playing strictly poker
and no chess, although
he was a big loser at
the game during this
time. Howard stuck to it
though, and in 1993 he
decided to move to Las
Vegas.
In 1994 Howard broke
through and and won 2
Hall of Fame titles.
After this Howard
continued to play in
cash games in Vegas and
was becoming to be a
long term winning
player. In 2001 Lederer
won his first 2 WSOP
bracelets and in 2002 he
won his first WPT.
Howard stays very busy
promoting and running
Full Tilt Poker. He also
does commentary for a
couple poker shows that
are on TV. The most
popular one is Poker
Superstars Invitational
Tournament. You can find
Howard playing on Full
Tilt Poker. Join him
